Earth Day is our new theme at Digi Darla Challenge Blog

Yep Monday again and that feels good! My hubby is back home after 10 days in Australia and it´s time for a new challenge over at Digi Darla. Woot Woot!

This week our lovely Michele  has picked Earth Day and we are looking for creations that has at least  one recycled item on your project. Can be as simple as scraps.

I made a card using a cupcake liner. I folded it double and then used it as a skirt on this lovely angel, called Annie Angel 4, you can find her here.

I colourd my digi with ProMarkers and Faber Castell pencils. I then cut it out but cut away her own skirt and used this cupcake liner instead. I put a lot of stickles on her wings and shoes. If you click on the picture you will see better what I mean.

I drew around the edges with a white gel pen. I also used one more recycle item. I used the little white circles that get left over after you use a edge punch. I glued them here and there around my angel. Think it looks pretty neat. I also like this colour combo of brown, turquoise and white. What colours do you like?

I would also like to enter this card into following challenges:
Bunny Zoe´s Crafts: April Challenge - Favorite colour combo
Cards in Envy: Things with wings
Dream Vally challenges : Things with wings

So, without further ado, this is my card. Made for a small baby boy...

Love these little trinklets from Prima. I used a edge punch from Martha Stewart to do the edges. Some sweet little with flowers and pale blue roses.

I used a sewing machine to do sew around the edge of the blue paper I then glued the little pearls here and there. The little white heart are left overs after I did the edges.
A lote of stickles on the moon and embossed the sentence with white embossing powder. It say: Welcome to the world.

How does your garden grow?

It´t finally Monday and a new challenge has started over at Digi Darla challenges. I had so much fun making my card to this challenge. The theme is How does your garden grow? That means we want to see lots of flowers.

I have used three stamps from Digi Darla and you can find them here. I used Blowing dandelions, single Aspen leaf and Gladiolus Twist. I made a sort of a box card. Like how it turned out sort of 3-d.

Used paper from MME and a Swedish brand called Bildmålarna. A big thank you to Snojbi who taught me how to make these cards!

I cut out all my digi stamp and stuck them on the card. Coloured them all with my ProMarkers and Faber Castell pencils.

This week we got a great challenge. The theme is Easel Card. I love that fold. And please pop over and have a look at all the varsity that my talented team mates have come up with. There are some new ones that I have to try as well.

We got two fantastic sponsors this week. First up is  Bugaboo. I love those stamps - always so much fun.

Next up is Sassy Studios Designs

Sassy Studio Designs

This is the card I made using Monster Rose from Bugaboo. Isn´t it so cute....

Used a lot of things from my local scrap shop, Scrapbutiken on this card. Actually everything comes from there except the two black stars on the ribbon.

This is what the card looks like from the side. I have put three dew drops at the top and the bottom.

I love the back of this paper looking like lace. Isn´t it gorgeous? Used a lot of black glitter from You Doo on the heart. Thinks it match the cards theme. Put a bit of copper sticklers on the stamp and the flowers. This thick cotton lace is one other favourite from Scrapbutiken.

Used a gele pen to make the stitch around the edge.

The paper is from Prima, did I mention that I have a crush on it?

I would like to enter this card to following challenges:
Catch the bug challenge - Anything Goes
Pattie´s Creations Designs - Make it sparkle
